KENTUCKY SCHOOL OF ART SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS
The Kentucky School of Art is happy to offer donors the opportunity to make gifts to one of our existing scholarship / student aid funds, or create a new named fund. At KSA, we believe that talent does not discriminate by socio-economic status, and we are proud to offer financial assistance to our students.
Existing Scholarships at KSA
A gift to an existing KSA Scholarship requires no minimum donation. There are several opportunities that supports deserving students.
JEAN MCCAULEY BROWN SCHOLARSHIP
Created in 2011, The Jean McCauley Brown Scholarship Fund has been established to benefit students majoring in Interdisciplinary Humanities with a concentration in Art, who demonstrate financial need. The Jean McCauley Brown Scholarship Fund provides tuition, books, and/or course fee expenses only, and will be awarded annually. The Scholarship is renewable so long as funds are available, and if the recipient is deemed to be in good academic standing.
THE LOUISVILLE SCHOOL OF ART ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP
Created in 2012, The Louisville School of Art Alumni Scholarship Fund is a permanently endowed scholarship that has been established to benefit incoming Freshman students enrolled at the Kentucky School of Art, who demonstrate financial need, and academic potential. The Louisville School of Art Alumni Scholarship provides tuition, books, and/or course fee expenses only, and will be awarded annually. The Scholarship is renewable so long as funds are available, and if the recipient is deemed to be in good academic standing.
THE KENTUCKY SCHOOL OF ART FUTURE CREATIVES SCHOLARSHIP
Created in 2012, The Kentucky School of Art Future Creatives Scholarship has been established to benefit full-time incoming freshman students who have won one of the following high school art competitions, and enroll at KSA : Louisville Visual Art
Association’s CFAC program; the Scholastic Art Award; The Governor’s School for the Arts; or the St. James High School Art Competition. The scholarship provides tuition, books, and/or course fee expenses only, and will be awarded annually, as long as funds are available.
THE KENTUCKY MINORITY SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Created in 2013, The Kentucky Minority Scholarship Fund is a scholarship that has been established to benefit incoming Freshman students enrolled at the Kentucky School of Art, who demonstrate financial need, academic potential, and racial minority. The Kentucky Minority Scholarship provides tuition, books, and/or course fee expenses only, and will be awarded annually.
THE KENTUCKY SCHOOL OF ART STUDENT ART SUPPLY FUND
Created in 2012, the Kentucky School of Art Student Art Supply Fund is a need-based grant program intended to assist students enrolled in the Kentucky School of Art with the purchase of supplies for their art classes offered through KSA.

A named scholarship at KSA may be made in several ways, and is a permanent way to honor a family, loved one, business, or idea. An endowed scholarship, an annual gift scholarship, or a combination gift are some of the ways to structure the establishment of a named scholarship.
