WHAT IS PORTFOLIO DAY?
If you are thinking of applying to a college art program, you will be required to submit a portfolio. We can help.
Our experienced faculty can review your portfolio and give you specific feedback and suggestions on how to make it stronger.
WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?
Please bring finished pieces, works in progress, and sketchbooks. If we are reviewing painting or drawing, original pieces are preferred. If we are reviewing 3D pieces, photographs are allowed. Do not spend time matting or framing your work. If you have digital pieces to show, please bring your own laptop.
DO YOU NEED A RESERVATION?
No. There are three faculty reviewers, and we will meet with you first come, first served. Feel free to arrive any time between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. We will close at 2 p.m.
PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENTS
Most colleges have specific requirements for admission to an art program. Be sure to check with the school you are applying to for more information.
